The general purpose of the Kindergarten in the Private Schools of ours, is the all-round and balanced development of the children.
We focus on how Toddlers learn and the processes that motivate the will to learn.
Emphasis is placed on the enjoyment element of the Educational process. Toddlers learn best through enjoyable Creative Activities that contribute o their Cognitive, Social, Emotional and Physical development.
Preschool children develop in many areas Psychomotor - Social - Emotional - Emotional - Moral - Religious, Aesthetic, Cognitive and in the cultivation of Skills, at the same time each of them is equally important for the child.
These sectors are directly related to each other and feed into the cognitive development of Toddlers.
Children should be able to get to know themselves, to communicate with others and have an effect both ways in the environment where they live in. They learn Science, Mathematics, Social Sciences, Language, Music, Literature-Poetry, Fine Arts-Visual Arts, English and Computers.
Kindergarten aims to help the child expand and enrich the mechanisms of functioning of his thinking.
The cognitive development is facilitated by the internalisation of the motor acts that the child performs on objects and faces. This internalisation is carried out with the help of the symbolic function (imitation, tracing, symbolic play, mental imagery and language).

The program in Kindergarten. When learning meets entertainment
The Kindergarten, intervening systematically, promotes the child's intelligence with their organizing appropriate creative Activities based on the principles of the Interdisciplinary Approach (Project Method) and experiential communicative teaching.
These activities are as follows:
MOTHER TONGUE: It aims at the acquisition of the linguistic structure and the functioning of the language system that will allow the child to express his/her mental and intellectual world.
ENVIRONMENTAL KNOWLEDGE: Aims to explore the natural and social environment, which provides a wealth of primary experiences and facilitates active learning. This unit also includes the interdisciplinary experiential approach (Project Method) which helps children to understand how the different principles of several subjects are related. I It builds relationships within knowledge, enables authentic learning and encourages problem solving. Supports children in a variety of ways of working and interacting. When children share feelings and experiences in the development of a topic, their participation is assured. Children are assisted to recognise the relationship between content and skills, between the School and the world. Individual needs and interests are respected and children are actively involved in the learning process.
Cultivating a love for the environment and science in Kindergarten
The Natural Science Laboratory aims to introduce young children to fundamental concepts, in order better understand the environment they live in and to stimulate their research interest.
To relate causes and effects, working on their own in experimental procedures where they discover all the laws.
Most of the children's activities are oriented towards a love of the environment. The Environmental education is not a list of "musts", but is part of the daily programme, participating in many exhibitions and environmental events.
Throughfield trips, and excursions and organized visits children gain direct experience of the world around them.
With the regular publication of their own newspaper, "News from the microcosm of our Kindergarten", as little journalists they expose their impressions of school life each time.

Building your children's future from Kindergarten
Sensitive to the child's future needs, we incorporate into our educational programme in the form of play, English and Informatics under the careful guidance of qualified teachers.
Children are introduced to the English language through a special teaching system; in a constructive and fun way, they become familiar with the sounds, songs and basic vocabulary offered alongside Teddy and his train.
Engaging young learners with computers at appropriate times has resulted in them loving and becoming familiar with the use of the mouse, through educational programs with sound, movement and images. It is a dynamic means of enhancing, developing and extending children's learning.
The combination of image and speech, which is achieved, gives children the opportunity to self-act and discover, resulting in the acquisition of better learning.
Finally, through all these processes, with affection and love, we believe that we achieve in the best possible way the purpose of our Kindergarten, which is all-round and balanced development of the infant with the ultimate goal of preparing him or her for the Elementary School.
