The teaching of Foreign Languages English and French or German has priority in our Schools. Our effort, from Kindergarten to the first grades of Primary school, is language proficiency, in communication skills and in the familiarity with cultural and culturally relevant elements. The Adequate preparation of students with books, Cds, videos, leaflets,interactive boards so that learning is achieved by a communicative approach and a pleasant atmosphere.The aim is to certify the stages of learning by taking the language examinations for all Cambridge University diplomas in collaboration with the British Council.
The English examinations for young learners reward children's efforts to learn English, with the ultimate aim of familiarising them with the learning of a foreign language and the idea of examinations. The exams are designed to be a positive experience, both a learning experience and a gentle but systematic test. They cover the four language skills - listening, speaking, reading, and writing - with an emphasis on speaking and listening skills.
Our Training Centres operate as a British Council accredited testing centre for the Young Learners English Test (Starters-Movers-Flyers) at primary school.
The success of Foreign Language teaching is based on the classification of students into different sections based on their level of knowledge.
The Primary School, the Middle School and the High School in collaboration with the British Council, and with the University of Cambridge ESOL examinations organise each year written English examinations for the KET (Key English Test), which is the first level of language proficiency, and the PET (Preliminary English Test),, which is aimed at an advanced level of learning and precedes the First Certificate in English F.C.E (Lower) Certificate in Advanced English C.A.E and Certificate of Proficiency in English C.P.E.
The levels test the student's ability to produce written speech, understand written texts, listen to listening comprehension, solve grammar problems and produce oral speech. Our school participates in these examinations, which are held at the British Council, for students to secure English language recognition qualifications.
Every summer, educational trips to summer colleges or universities in England are organizedwith the main goal of greater progress in the foreign language,, the creative expression, and the the intellectual development, you with familiarization of students with the culture of England, entertainment, fun, Sports with a variety of sporting activities, Art, the Dancing the Computers Educational Excursions,the opportunity to socialise with students of other nationalities, which creates a wonderful exchange of ideas, enhancing their knowledge, success and confidence in a safe environment. Students learn to be independent social and responsible individuals. Educational trips are designed to meet the individual needs of each student with the respect and sensitivity they deserve.
